Medicine is changing, and we at Samaritan Internal Medicine believe that our patients deserve local, personalized care combined with the medical and technological advances that a Stanford-sponsored medical foundation offers.
We are pleased to announce that patients can now email our office and our physicians through our new email portal called MyHealth. Our new Electronic Medical Record system called EPIC enables patients to email the doctors and their staff through this portal. Requests for appointments, general questions, and non urgent medical questions can be sent by email to your doctor and staff. If you are interested, please contact our office where our medical staff can supply you with a password and the registration information required for this new system. (Please note, the portal through this website is no longer active).
Important Announcement for HMO Patients
Regarding PHYSICIANS MEDICAL GROUP:
Physicians Medical Group of San Jose ("PMG") recently notified Samaritan Internal Medicine that effective December 26, 2012 we will no longer be included in their network. You may have already received a letter from your health plan or PMG assigning you to a new primary care doctor. Fortunately, Samaritan Internal Medicine may be able to continue serving you through Affinity Medical Group and the change is relatively easy.
For Commercial HMO or POS members:
Our physicians have greatly appreciated the opportunity to serve you and would be very pleased to continue in that role. If you choose to continue to receive medical services from us, please contact your health plan and advise them that you wish to continue care under Affinity Medical Group.
